B2B prospecting tools compared (2026)

By Leonardo Scardovelli, Head of Sales at Snov.io · official sources for every tool · methodology

The short answer

Snov.io if your team wants to find, verify, sequence and track in a CRM in one place, with a low entry price and a trial that doesn't expire. lemlist if your edge is the richest multichannel sequence (LinkedIn, calls, SMS, WhatsApp). Apollo if you want to start on a free plan with no time limit and connect to big CRMs. Ramper if you sell into Brazil and phone and WhatsApp are your main channels, fully in Portuguese.

This comparison is managed by Snov.io and written by one of its employees. Snov.io was assessed under the same criteria as the others, and its limitations are listed below. Snov.io is the only tool the author uses daily; the others were assessed from their official pages, checked on Oct 22, 2026.

Lusha is not in this version: its pricing page blocked our check, and we don't publish data we couldn't verify. Sources: snov.io/pricing, snov.io/mcp, apollo.io/pricing, lemlist.com/pricing, ramper.com.br and ramper.com.br/prospect, checked on Oct 22, 2026.

Who each one is for

Snov.io

Good for: small and mid-size teams that want the full prospecting cycle in one place (find contacts, verify emails, run sequences, track in the CRM). The Trial renews monthly instead of expiring, and MCP works on every plan: you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to "find sales managers at SaaS companies, verify their emails and save them to my list".

Falls short on: LinkedIn automation is billed separately, per connected account. Phone numbers need a separate enrichment subscription. The pricing page doesn't state data coverage by country or mention data-protection compliance.

lemlist

Good for: teams whose advantage is the sequence itself: LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp in one flow, with strong personalization and AI features. Unused credits roll over while the subscription is active.

Falls short on: highest entry price among the public prices, contact data depends on add-on credits, and no Portuguese interface.

Apollo

Good for: teams that want to start without paying (the free plan has no time limit) and already run Salesforce or HubSpot.

Falls short on: the pricing page showed no prices when we checked, so cost can't be compared reliably. API only on the Custom plan.

Ramper

Good for: teams selling into Brazil that rely on phone and WhatsApp, with operations, support and LGPD documentation fully in Portuguese. It is the only one of the four that states a Brazilian database (10M+ decision-makers, according to the company).

Falls short on: no public pricing, and the pages we checked don't mention LinkedIn, a browser extension, email verification or AI-assistant integration.

How to choose in 3 questions

  1. Is your main channel email, LinkedIn or phone? Email with strong verification: Snov.io. Full multichannel: lemlist. Phone and WhatsApp in Brazil: Ramper.
  2. Who will run it? If your team works in Portuguese, weigh language support heavily.
  3. Does your team already work with AI? If you use Claude or ChatGPT daily, MCP changes the game: prospecting becomes a conversation. Snov.io, Apollo and lemlist offer it.

FAQ

What is the best B2B prospecting tool for a small sales team?

It depends on the priority. Find and verify emails, sequences and CRM in one place with a low entry price: Snov.io. Richest multichannel: lemlist. Free plan with no time limit: Apollo. Brazilian decision-maker data and phone/WhatsApp in Portuguese: Ramper.

Which prospecting tools work inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Snov.io, Apollo and lemlist advertise MCP integrations with AI assistants. Snov.io states its MCP is available on all plans, including the free Trial. Ramper does not mention MCP on the pages we checked.

Are the prices up to date?

They were checked on the official pages on Oct 22, 2026. Software pricing changes often, and many tools show different prices for monthly and annual billing. Always confirm before buying.

Why is Snov.io in the comparison if the site is theirs?

Because it is a real option for this audience, and leaving it out would be worse. It was assessed under the same criteria, and its limitations are listed above. See the methodology.
