About and methodology

Who writes it, who runs it, and how we evaluate

In short

Revenue Codex is managed by Snov.io, a B2B prospecting platform. The content is written by Leonardo Scardovelli, Head of Sales at Snov.io. That is why Snov.io appears in the comparisons, and exactly why we follow explicit rules, so you can judge every recommendation knowing about that connection.

Who writes

Leonardo Scardovelli is Head of Sales at Snov.io, responsible for the company's global sales operation, with reps across three continents. He has 16 years in sales and 9 leading teams, including a previous role as Head of Sales at Board Academy. He holds a postgraduate degree in neuroscience and behavior, which is where much of this site's people-management content comes from.

He also writes about sales leadership and AI on LinkedIn.

The connection to Snov.io

Snov.io runs this site and pays for its hosting. The author is a Snov.io employee. No other company mentioned here paid to appear, and no link to a competitor is an affiliate link.

We don't call this site "independent", because it isn't. We would rather you know that and decide with the full picture.

How we evaluate tools

  1. Same criteria for all. Every tool is assessed on the same points: contact data, email verification, multichannel sequences, CRM, AI integrations (MCP), price, language and data protection (LGPD/GDPR).
  2. Official source and date. Prices and features come from each tool's official page, with the date we checked. Software pricing changes; always confirm before buying.
  3. Testing versus claims. We only say "used in practice" when we did. Today, the only tool in the comparison the author uses daily is Snov.io. Everything else is based on what each company publishes, and is labeled that way.
  4. Limitations and competitors' advantages, always. Snov.io's included. If a competitor is better for a specific case, the text says so.
  5. When we can't verify, we say so. Prices behind "contact sales" or unreachable pages show as "not verified", never as an estimate.

The free tools

The calculators, the diagnostic and the 1:1 script generator run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, stored or tied to you.

Science

Every scientific claim on this site names its author, year and journal. Where research is solid, we say so. Where something is the author's practical inference rather than a study, it is labeled as such.
